Projects around the world

World Vision works alongside communities in some of the poorest places in the world. We're committed to being there for the long haul – until local people no longer need our help. What’s more, it’s the local people who decide which projects will give them the best chance of changing their lives for the better.

So when they request a particular alternative gift, you can be confident it’s exactly what they need – from a mosquito net to protect a child in Zambia from malaria to 20 chicks for a Sri Lankan family to start their flock.
