Why introduce an Alternative Gift Catalogue?
The rationale behind our Alternative Gift Catalogue is to:

  • Provide an innovative way for our supporters to give unique and individual gifts to friends and family.
  • Provide life-changing gifts to people in the developing world.
  • Assist communities in journey out of poverty

How does the catalogue work?
It's simple. You buy a unique alternative gift from the catalogue. We send you a card to give to your friend or family member with details of the gift that you've chosen. Communities in the developing world receive a gift that they really need and it helps them on their journey out of poverty.

What do I receive?
You get a great quality card containing the details of your chosen gift. You can either have this sent back to you or sent directly to your recipient by first class post. If you order online, you can design and personalise your card, choosing from lots of designs. If you order by post or over the telephone, there are 5 stylish card designs to choose from. You can choice to receive a receipt for the total amount of your donation.

How do you decide what goes in the catalogue?
We choose the gifts on the basis of the needs of the communities that we work with. All items have been identified as priorities, so you can be sure that they are important and will be greatly appreciated. This means your choice of gifts is determined by the requests we receive from the communities in which we work.

Can you send me a catalogue?
Requesting a catalogue is simple. You can order one by clicking on the request a catalogue link and filling in the relevant boxes or you can give us a call on 0845 600 6445.

Despatch information

Important - The despatch date is the day we POST the card and NOT the day is should arrive. Orders placed before 5pm will be despatched the following working day.

Expected Delivery Times

The Royal Mail aims to deliver 90% of all first class letters the day after despatch; however, it is not possible to guarantee next day delivery, unless you use our special delivery option. To avoid disappointment, please ensure you allow as much time as possible for your order to arrive. NB: Your order is likely to arrive much faster if you use a postcode!
