Gifts that support Group fundraising
Part of Livestock Loans, Zimbabwe
Push the goat out and buy a whole herd! Goats will produce milk to trade with other people, and the goats’ kids will be passed on to help other families.
Part of Livestock Handling of Llamas, Bolivia
Give a farmer two llamas! This is your chance to provide families in the Cochabamba region of Bolivia with a pair of llamas, which will produce higher quality wool to help improve income.
Part of Water Project, Sri Lanka
Ensure that schoolchildren in Chettikulam, Sri Lanka have safe water to drink with this rainwater harvesting tank. In an area with limited access to water, tanks collect and store water hygienically in schools, which will help prevent the spread of disease.
Part of Water Project, Sri Lanka
How about a cow? A milking cow will provide an income for families in the Chettikulam region of Sri Lanka. It will produce fresh milk for a family to drink each day and to sell at market.
Part of Education Project, India
In Daringbadi, India, teachers often have very large classes and there is a lack of trained teachers, resulting in low literacy levels. This gift will help train teachers and improve their teaching, meaning children will receive a better education.
Part of Food Security, Zimbabwe
A grain silo will give farming families in Hurungwe, Zimbabwe somewhere safe to store their precious crops. These crops will give people enough food to last until the next harvest and will also provide seeds for replanting.
Part of Water Project, Sri Lanka
This reel-y brilliant gift means that six families in Sri Lanka can establish their own inland fish farm. The business will generate a sustainable income for these families, who are just returning to the region after years of political upheaval.
Part of Water Project, Sri Lanka
Pool together and build a well in Sri Lanka. The water supply has been seriously damaged by civil war. This gift will help families get access to clean water, clearly benefiting children, who are vulnerable to diseases caused by dirty water.
Part of Tackling Low Birthweights, Cambodia
Get together and buy a motorbike to help a healthcare worker in Cambodia reach isolated villages. They will meet with community leaders, train health centre staff and run classes for mothers, and the bike will help them get around much faster.
Part of Education in Jong, Sierra Leone
Children living in Jong, Sierra Leone currently have to sit outside or on the floor because of a lack of classrooms and furniture. Your gift will help the community build a new classroom so more children can get an education.
